PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Art 

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an
Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or National Diploma with Dramatic Art or Visual Art completed up to third year level and a language or design or graphic design or Psychology completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Business Studies)
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Business Management or Small Business Management or Business Administration completed up to third year level and Economics or Accounting completed up to second year level. 
 

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Consumer studies) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as as Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with any two of the following subjects completed: Food (Nutrition) and/or Textiles (Clothing) and/or Housing (Interior). One of these subjects should have been completed up to third year level and another completed up to second year level.

PGCE  in Senior Phase and FET ( Teaching Economics) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an
appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Economics (Micro and Macro) completed up to third year level and Business Studies or Accounting up to second year level. 
 

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Engineering Technology) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Engineering Graphics completed up to third year level and Mathematics or Physics or Applied Mathematics completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching English) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Engineering Graphics completed up to third year level and Mathematics or Physics or Applied Mathematics completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Financial Accounting) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching History)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with History completed up to third year level and Human Geography completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Hospitality Studies) 
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Food Services Management or Hospitality Management or Hospitality Studies completed up to third year level and Accounting or Business Studies or Economics or Entrepreneurship or Tourism completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training (Teaching Information Computer Studies)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Information Systems completed up to third year level and Chemistry or Physics or Biological Sciences or Computer Science (software and programming) completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Languages)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with either Afrikaans, IsiNdebele, IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho. Setswana, SiSwati, Tshivenda, Xitsonga, Applied Language (not English), Arabic, French, German, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Modern Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu or Urdu completed up to third year level and Psychology or History or Art or Geography or Another Language from the list or South African Sign Language completed up to second year level.

Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Life Orientation)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Psychology completed up to third year level and Human Movement Sciences or Labour Studies or Sociology or Political Science or Industrial Psychology completed up to second year level.

Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Life Sciences)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Biology (Botany with Zoology) completed up to third year level and Mathematics or Chemistry or Physics completed up to second year level. (It is also acceptable where Microbiology or Biochemistry or Biological Sciences was completed up to third year level with Biology also completed up to second year level).

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Mathematical Literacy)

A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Mathematics or Applied Mathematics completed up to third year level and Statistics or Accounting or Applied Mechanics or Physics or Agriculture completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Mathematics)
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Mathematics (including Algebra and Calculus) completed up to third year level and Statistics or Biological Sciences or Physics or Chemistry or Engineering completed up to second year level

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET (Teaching Physical Sciences)
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Physics and Chemistry. One of these should have been completed up to third year level and the other up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training (Teaching Religious Studies)
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Biblical Studies or Religion Studies or Islamic Studies completed up to third year level and Psychology completed up to second year level.

PGCE in Senior Phase and FET  (Teaching Tourism)
A Senior Certificate with exemption, as well as an appropriate accredited Bachelor's degree (360 or 480 credits) or equivalent National Diploma (360 or 480 credits) with Tourism completed up to third year level and Business Management completed up to second year level.
