For Senior Certificate Obtained Before 2008:
- Matriculation Exemption or equivalent
- M-Score of 23 or above (maximum of 6 subjects)
- English: HG (50%, Symbol E) or SG (60%, Symbol D)
- Biology: HG (Symbol E minimum) or SG (Symbol C minimum)
- Mathematics: HG (Symbol E minimum) or SG (Symbol C minimum) or Commercial Mathematics SG (50%)
Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
- Matric Certificate with a D pass at Higher Grade level
- Diploma in Nursing Certificate (NQF level 6)
- Registered Nurse with SANC
