How to submit your late application

Online applications – Free of charge

All applications must be submitted online.

STEP 1: CHOOSE PROGRAMMES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Select from the list of available programmes
  2. Consult the 2024 prospectuses to ensure that you meet the minimum admission and subject requirements for your programme of choice: Step 1: Choose a qualification and special requirements - CPUT

STEP 2: GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS OR UPLOAD FURTHER/OUTSTANDING DOCUMENTS

    1. Minor applicants must submit a Minor Application Declaration
    2. Any additional supporting documentation that is required for specific programmes

Application outcome

Selections will be conducted within the respective Faculties and the outcome will be communicated via SMS to the applicant. Please track your outcome frequently and/or download your acceptance letter by accessing the CPUT website link: http://www.cput.ac.za/study/track

 

How to apply

Late application programmes have been identified and is only available to Returning CPUT students i.e. CPUT students who have taken a gap in their studies or who wish to complete their phasing out programmes. Applications are welcomed from  14 February 2024 until , 24 February 2024. Click here for more information.

Please take note of the following where applications are still open regardless of the programmes that will entertain late applications only:

  • The closing date for a Full Research Master’s and Doctoral Studies will remain open until 15 March 2024
  • Above programmes welcome all applicants to apply.

Mode of application

All applications must be submitted online (except otherwise indicated on this website).

Regretfully, no manual application submissions will be processed where online submissions have been enabled.

Number of application choices per applicant

An applicant is allowed to submit a maximum of 3 choices for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies. For RPL applications, only 1 choice is permissible.
