## What can you study at SWGC?

The NCV courses are offered at levels 2 to 4 (equivalent to grades 10 to 12), and they consist of three compulsory subjects (English First Additional Language, Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, Life Orientation) and four vocational subjects related to the chosen field of study. The NCV courses are accredited by Umalusi and recognised by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

The Report 191 programmes (NATED) are offered at levels N1 to N6 in engineering studies and N4 to N6 in business studies. These programmes consist of four subjects per level related to the chosen field of study. The Report 191 programmes are also accredited by Umalusi and recognised by DHET.

The skills development and learnership programmes are short courses that aim to enhance the employability of students by providing them with specific skills required by employers. These programmes are offered in partnership with Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) such as MERSETA, CATHSSETA, MICTSETA etc.

## How can you apply at SWGC?

You can apply online or offline at SWGC depending on your preference. To apply online, you need to visit the college website and follow the steps outlined in the Manual for Student Online Applications. You will need a valid email address, a cellphone number and scanned copies of your ID document/passport/birth certificate/permit/asylum seeker document/proof of residence/parent/guardian ID document/latest school report/results/sponsor letter/proof of income etc.

To apply offline, you need to obtain an application form from any of the college campuses or download it from the college website. You will need to submit your completed application form along with certified copies of your ID document/passport/birth certificate/permit/asylum seeker document/proof of residence/parent/guardian ID document/latest school report/results/sponsor letter/proof of income etc. You can submit your application form either in person or via email/post/courier/fax.

The application fee is R50 for online applications and R100 for offline applications. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid before submitting your application form. You can pay via EFT/cash deposit/debit card/credit card at any campus cashier office.

## What support services are available at SWGC?

SWGC strives to provide a conducive learning environment for its students by offering various support services such as:
